Fiesta Mart in Houston, TX invites applications for a Utilities Clerk position at Store 004 Houston-Spencer Hwy. The role focuses on customer service, stocking, and general store maintenance in a fast-paced grocery environment.

You will engage with customers in a bilingual setting, assist with cart retrieval, price checks, and administrative tasks as part of the Store Operations Team. This full-time role supports the Produce department and store upkeep with a focus on safety and efficiency.

Formación

• Read and write Spanish/English; interact with public and co-workers.
• Read and comprehend simple instructions, product labels, pricing codes, shelf tags, memos.
• Write simple correspondence.

Responsabilidades

• Bag groceries for customers when needed and assist with carry-out.
• Assist customers on the store floor and maintain store cleanliness and safety.
• Maintain and retrieve store carts, run price checks, and assist with go-backs and check stand upkeep.
• Remove waste from the parking area and help with other maintenance tasks as needed.

The Opportunity

To assist in the proper maintenance of the store, particularly in the Produce Department and assist customers on the store floor as needed.

The Utilities Clerk will properly bag groceries for customers when needed. If requested, they will carry out groceries for customers. The Utilities Clerk is responsible for the store maintenance to ensure the store is clean and safe at all times. They will maintain and retrieve store carts, run price checks, assist with go-backs, assist with check stand upkeep, and remove waste from the parking area.

The working environment is typical for a fast-paced grocery store, and essential functions of this job include physical requirements such as lifting, standing, walking and kneeling as well as visual and auditory requirements.
