Overview

Utah - Contract Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner at Talkspace. This is a contract, part-time role designed for clinicians who want flexibility and the rewards of private practice without administrative overhead, as Talkspace handles insurance billing, marketing, and other costs so you can focus on patient care.

What you'll do

• Treat patients in your state(s) of licensure
• Conduct initial Psychiatric Diagnosis Interview Examinations (PDE) for new patient referrals and Evaluation & Management (E/M) sessions for established patients
• Use the Talkspace platform to conduct video sessions, submit clinical documentation, and manage patient treatment plans
• Coordinate with the Talkspace psychiatry team as needed
• Seamlessly conduct video call sessions, manage cases, create treatment plans, and submit clinical documentation for each patient
• No overhead: avoid insurance barriers, marketing budgets, administrative costs, and other private practice expenses
• Flexible: practice from home, on your own time, with a schedule that fits your personal or professional obligations
• Secure: patient-provider communications are protected with best-in-class, bank-level security and encryption
• HIPAA-Compliant: adheres to HIPAA BAA regulations and ethical codes regarding patient confidentiality

Compensation

• $110 per initial session with a new patient referral (Psychiatric Diagnosis Interview Examination - 45-60 min)
• $30-$85 per follow-up session with an established patient, depending on session length (Evaluation and Management - 10-49 min)

About you

• Active PMHNP license in Utah and 2+ years prescribing experience
• Active DEA and individual NPI number
• Submission of a fully completed, signed CAQH application
• Reliable internet connection
• Independent professional liability insurance; minimum coverage of $1 million occurrence/$3 million aggregate
