Job summary

Public & School Partnership, based in Logan, Utah, seeks a full-time AmeriCorps VISTA member to strengthen the Utah Assistive Technology Program (UATP) and AgrAbility outreach in Southern Utah. You will build community partnerships, map disability and agricultural resources, and create sustainable systems for tracking partnerships and referrals.

You will document findings and develop recommendations to help both programs expand Southern Utah outreach beyond the service period.

Utah Assistive Technology Program VISTA 2026-2027

The Public & School Partnership is an AmeriCorps-funded nonprofit organization based in Logan, Utah at the Utah State University Institute for Disability Research, Policy & Practice. PSP accomplishes its mission by building partnerships between schools, nonprofit organizations, local institutions, and community members. PSP’s full-time AmeriCorps VISTA members strengthen the capacity of schools and nonprofit organizations across northern Utah by developing sustainable systems, tools, outreach materials, volunteer recruitment resources, grant writing materials, fundraising templates, communication tools, and process guides that staff can use to implement and sustain anti-poverty programs.

Member Duties :

The AmeriCorps member will strengthen UATP and AgrAbility outreach in Southern Utah by developing community partnerships, referral pathways, outreach materials, and educational resources. The member will identify service gaps and community needs, map disability and agricultural resources, and create sustainable systems for tracking partnerships, referrals, and outreach. They will also develop shared tools and processes that improve collaboration between UATP and AgrAbility, including cross-referral procedures, joint resources, and outreach strategies. The member will document findings and develop recommendations to help both programs maintain and expand their Southern Utah outreach and community connections beyond the VISTA service period.
