Job summary

UT Health East Texas is seeking a board-certified Nurse Practitioner to join our high-volume Women’s Health Team in Tyler, TX. You will work with a Urogynecologist to assess, diagnose, and treat urogynecology conditions, perform exams, and manage inpatient and post-operative discharge care.

The role covers inpatient and outpatient settings with a typical schedule M–F 8–5, serving 15–20 patients daily and supporting outreach clinics.

Qualifications

• Board-certified Nurse Practitioner joining a women’s health team.
• Licensure as a Nurse Practitioner in applicable state.
• Experience in urogynecology or related fields preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assess, diagnose, and treat urogynecology conditions.
• Perform physical exams and collect patient history.
• Provide inpatient and post-operative discharge care.

UT Health East Texas is seeking a board-certified Nurse Practitioner to join their high-volume, growing Women’s Health Team practice in Tyler, TX. Collaborate with our board-certified Urogynecologist to assess, diagnose, and treat a wide variety of common urogynecology medical and surgical conditions as directed, execute physical exams, collect history, and provide care for inpatient and post operational discharge services.

Your Work:

• Both inpatient and outpatient settings


• Mon – Fri 8-5


• 15-20 patients per day average


• 3-6 patients per week post-operational discharge


• Primary worksite location near UT Health Tyler hospital and two monthly outreach outpatient clinics


• Epic EMR


• Experience in Urology, Surgery, OBGYN, or Primary Care preferred
