Cardiovascular Consultants is hiring a full-time Nurse Practitioner to join our cardiology team at UT Health East Texas in Tyler, Texas. The Advanced Practice Provider will focus on pre/post-cardiovascular care and support the care pathway from patient clearance through discharge planning.

The schedule runs Monday through Friday, 7:00 AM to 3:30/4:30 PM with flexible end time. Join our growing program and contribute to high-quality heart care in East Texas.

Qualifications

• Active NP or PA license in Texas or ability to obtain
• Experience in cardiology or pre/post-care strongly preferred
• Strong communication and patient education skills

Responsabilités

• Manage lifecycle of cardiac cath patients using the platform
• Ensure patients are cleared for procedures and prepared for discharge
• Coordinate post-op recovery and discharge planning to keep unit efficient

Position: Advanced Practice Provider (NP/PA) – Pre/Post-Cardiovascular Care
Schedule: Monday through Friday, 0700 – 1530 / 1630 (Flexible End Time)

About the Position:

• We are looking for an NP or PA to join our pre/post-cardio team Monday through Friday (7 AM to 3:30/4:30 PM). This role centers around a dedicated app that helps doctors manage the entire lifecycle of cardiac cath patients. Your main focus will be using the platform to ensure patients are cleared and ready for their procedures, managing their post-op recovery, and executing smooth discharge planning to keep the unit running efficiently.
