Qualifications

• Six years of experience and/or education related to UST inspections.

• Explain environmental regulations clearly to regulated parties.
• Coordinate with internal teams and external entities to ensure consistent program implementation.
• Review inspection records and reports for defensible documentation.

Responsibilities

• Travel to facilities to inspect USTs and determine corrective actions.
• Perform installation, retrofit, and decommissioning inspections to ensure standards are met.
• Issue enforcement actions and follow up to achieve compliance.
• Investigate leaking tanks complaints and document findings.
• Provide technical assistance and education on UST regulations.
• Serve as regional point of contact for UST-related questions and issues.
• Coordinate with owners, operators, and local governments on complex projects.
• Maintain accurate UST files and databases and support performance measures.
