Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Microbiology, Biology, or a related scientific field.
• 2–5 years of microbiology lab experience in a regulated manufacturing environment (pharmaceutical, personal care, cosmetics, food, etc.).
• Hands-on experience with USP microbiological testing methods including USP <60>, <61>, <62>, <51>, and/or <1231>.
• Working knowledge of cGMP regulations and aseptic laboratory techniques.
• Strong attention to detail with excellent documentation and organizational skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced manufacturing environment while managing multiple priorities.

• Perform Microbial Limit Testing and Suitability Testing per USP <60>, <61>, and <62>.
• Prepare microbiological media, reagents, and laboratory supplies for testing.
• Perform Growth Promotion and sterility testing on new media and reagent lots.
• Receive, inspect, and document samples for microbiological testing.
• Maintain laboratory equipment, perform routine calibrations, and ensure laboratory cleanliness.
• Follow aseptic techniques, cGMP requirements, and established laboratory procedures.
• Accurately document test results and communicate findings to the quality team.
