Job summary

Fathom 4, LLC is seeking a seasoned Systems Engineer to support fixed-site IT systems for USMC projects. The role involves collaborating with project teams, preparing status reports, and providing architectural guidance to clients.

You will contribute to design, implementation, and optimization of networks, servers, and virtualization platforms while adhering to USMC processes and security requirements. A Secret clearance is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or mathematics from ABET-accredited program; technology degrees do not qualify as Engineering degrees.
• 5-7 years of professional experience in research, design, and development of computer and network software, or related areas.
• Experience applying modern software development methodologies (e.g., Agile, DevOps/DevSecOps).
• 3 years of technical experience in architecture & support of C5ISR or information management systems.
• DOD/USMC program experience including requirements management and specification development.
• Current Secret security clearance is required.

Responsibilities

• Systems Engineering support for USMC IT infrastructure including networks, servers, laptops, software, containers, and virtualized systems.
• Deep understanding of USMC systems engineering methods and approval processes.
• Networking knowledge including architectures, topologies, ports/protocols, and virtual networks.
• Systems Administration for Windows and Linux operating systems.
• Experience with virtualized infrastructures (VMware, Hyper-V).
