Job Summary

Uptown Theater is seeking an Usher/Greeter/Ticket Taker. As an usher, greeter, or ticket taker, you help ensure safety, maintain venue cleanliness, and engage with guests to assist before, during, and after the show.

What This Role Will Do

• Greet guests, scan tickets, answer questions, assist with seat locations, and verify tickets at entry.
• Help keep the venue safe, clean, and presentable.
• Resolve guest complaints or problems.
• Assist guests with special needs and participate in venue recycling and sustainability efforts.
• Guide guests in emergencies and assist with venue closing procedures.
• Provide directions and ensure guests enjoy the show safely.

What This Person Will Bring

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
• At least 1+ year in guest service preferred.
• Excellent communication skills and tactful judgment.
• Ability to walk, climb stairs, lift, and carry 25 lbs+.

Additional Information
