SUMMARY

The Usher/Ticket Taker is responsible for providing excellent customer service at all events, including directing guests, scanning tickets, greeting guests, assisting with seating, controlling access points, and resolving guest issues or problems.


PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES
  1. Assist guests with directional and informational inquiries by demonstrating strong knowledge of the facility and event(s).
  2. Communicate professionally with staff, clients, guests, supervisors, and corporate personnel regarding important information.
  3. Effectively accommodate guests with disabilities, complying with ADA requirements.
  4. Maintain a calm and attentive demeanor when addressing guest issues.
  5. Check COVID-19 vaccination cards and IDs of attendees.
  6. Check and scan tickets upon entry, directing guests appropriately.
  7. Control access points to prevent unauthorized entries.
  8. Report any activities or behaviors conflicting with policies or codes of conduct to a supervisor or Event Manager.
QUALIFICATIONS
  1. High School Diploma or equivalent.
  2. 0-1 years of related work experience.
  3. Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
  4. Strong commitment to providing excellent customer service.
  5. Neat, professional appearance.
  6. Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  7. Sound judgment and decision-making abilities.
  8. Availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.
