A leading financial institution seeks a UX Designer to enhance digital user experiences. The role involves creating design solutions through collaboration with cross-functional teams, conducting user research, and facilitating strategic digital initiatives. Candidates should have relevant educational background and experience in UX, preferably in financial services.
This is a remote position that may only be hired in the following location: North Carolina.
This role involves creating design solutions for digital products, services, and channels through collaboration with designers, product owners, product managers, developers, and business stakeholders. The candidate will provide expert consultation on the creation of digital experiences that align with client expectations, needs, and ease of access. They will lead aspects of design and user testing for cross-functional and enterprise-wide initiatives and work closely with Information Technology (IT) teams on digital deliverables. The role also involves facilitating the strategic execution of digital enhancements and initiatives through strong technical acumen.
Either a Bachelor's Degree with 2 years of UX experience or a High School Diploma/GED with 6 years of UX experience.
Preferred Area of Study: UX Design, Human-Computer Interaction (HCI).
Preferred Experience: Financial Services Industry.
License or Certification: None specified.
Skills include understanding digital design, user experience, interaction design, information architecture, design patterns, visual systems, internet/web application development, wireframing/rapid prototyping (e.g., Axure, Figma, Adobe Sketch), and usability testing.
Experience with research and analytics to guide design decisions, conducting usability studies, moderating sessions, and communicating insights is preferred.
Current or former experience as a contractor/contingent worker for First Citizens Bank or its subsidiaries is required.
