Job summary

Google UX Engineer internship in Mountain View offers the opportunity to work on the front end of our products in a fast-paced environment, bridging UX best practices with production execution.

You will collaborate with UX Designers, Researchers, Writers, Program Managers and Engineers to launch innovative frontend features. Pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's in CS, HCI, or Design with experience in JavaScript, HTML, CSS, and UI design is required.

Job description

Minimum qualifications:

• Currently pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, HCI, Design, or a related technical field.
• Experience with JavaScript, HTML, and CSS.
• Experience in designing and implementing user interfaces (UIs).

Preferred qualifications:

• Currently attending a degree program in the US and available to work full time for 12 weeks outside of university term time.
• In their penultimate academic year or returning to a degree program after completion of the internship.
• Experience with modern frontend frameworks and libraries (e.g., React, TypeScript, Angular, Vue, etc.)
  
• Experience in development or prototyping.
• Experience coding in Go, Python, C++, Java, Kotlin, Objective C, Swift, or similar.
