Base pay range

$55.00/hr - $60.00/hr

Job Title: Mid-Career UX Designer (Remote – EST Hours)

Type: Contract (W-2)

Schedule: Monday–Friday, EST hours

Location: 100% Remote (Must work EST hours)

Contract Length: Temp, ongoing with potential for extension

Eligibility: Must be authorized to work in the United States for any employer

Position Summary:

We’re seeking a Mid-Career User Experience Designer to play a critical role in shaping the future of enterprise-level digital healthcare platforms. You’ll be joining a dynamic eCommerce team amid a major digital transformation—bringing your UX expertise to align mobile and responsive web experiences across high-impact B2B platforms.

As a key designer on cross-functional teams, you’ll be responsible for UX strategy, user flows, wireframes, and design governance for mobile and tablet platforms. You’ll collaborate with product, engineering, and offshore teams to build intuitive, inclusive, and scalable digital experiences.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead UX efforts from concept through delivery across mobile apps and responsive web platforms
• Translate business needs and complex systems into intuitive, future-ready digital experiences
• Create detailed UX artifacts: low/high-fidelity wireframes, user flows, journey maps, annotated specs, sitemaps
• Design and maintain UX governance for mobile/tablet apps
• Participate in whiteboarding, prototyping, and collaborative design workshops
• Collaborate with product and engineering teams in an agile environment, including global teams
• Communicate design decisions clearly to stakeholders and leadership
• Apply accessibility standards and user-centered design methodologies throughout the lifecycle

Required Qualifications:

• 5+ years of UX design experience (enterprise or eCommerce platforms preferred)
• Strong portfolio demonstrating hands-on UX contributions and user-centered design
• Proficiency in Figma; prototyping experience in Figma or Axure is a plus
• Solid understanding of interaction design, content strategy, and user research
• Comfortable with complex systems and data-driven interfaces
• Familiarity with Atomic Design principles and scalable design systems
• Excellent communication skills in distributed/remote team environments
• Experience with responsive/adaptive design for mobile, tablet, and desktop
• Training or certification in accessibility and inclusive design is preferred
