Job description

Fully Remote in Seattle - potential to RTO 1-2 days per week after the summer

Duration: 6 month contract, with potential to convert or extend

Compensation: $45-60/hour

Project: B2C Web Design

Desired Experience:

• 3+ years of experience in product design or user experience design, preferably in retail, ecommerce, omni-channel, or adjacent industries.
• Strong UI / visual design skills.
• Experience designing responsive interfaces for web and iOS.
• Experience presenting to leadership audiences with strong storytelling and presentation skills.
• Proven skills in User Centered Design methodologies, creating mock-ups and prototypes at varying fidelity levels, UI design including industry best practices, and Accessibility requirements for web and mobile.

Day-to-Day Responsibilities:

• Engage in discovery activities such as competitive analysis, user task and goal identification, journey mapping, process flows, and user research in partnership with the UX Research team.
• Participate in and facilitate collaborative ideation sessions with cross-functional teams and leadership.
• Communicate design rationale clearly to partners and stakeholders, and incorporate their feedback.
• Create deliverables like wireframes, information architecture, mock-ups, prototypes, and final assets tailored to the audience and purpose.
