Job summary

Ideal candidates have 1+ year in automotive maintenance, a valid license, and can pass required background and drug screening. This role emphasizes comprehensive reconditioning and accurate record-keeping in a fast-paced dealership

Qualifications

• 1+ year of automotive maintenance or repair experience.
• Valid driver's license and a clean driving record.
• Authorized to work in the USA.
• Ability to pass pre-employment testing including background checks, MVR, and drug test.

Responsibilities

• Inspect vehicles to identify needed mechanical and cosmetic repairs.
• Perform basic maintenance services such as oil changes, brakes, batteries, and fluid checks.
• Document work performed and communicate repairs with service advisors or management.
• Assist with cosmetic reconditioning including buffing, light interior cleaning, and trim repairs.
• Ensure vehicles meet safety and quality standards before being moved to the front line.
• Maintain reconditioning logs and meet daily production targets.
• Operate and move vehicles safely around the dealership and service areas.
• Keep work areas clean, organized, and compliant with safety procedures.
