Cavalier Ford Lincoln in Chesapeake, VA seeks an experienced automotive technician to diagnose, repair, and maintain vehicle systems. You will work with a team in a fast-paced, family-owned dealership that values ongoing training and rewards performance.

Responsibilities

• Perform work specified on the repair order with efficiency and in accordance with dealership standards.
• Test-drive vehicles and test components and systems using diagnostic tools and equipment.
• Diagnose, maintain, and repair vehicle automotive systems including engine, transmission, electrical, steering, suspension, brakes, A/C, etc.
• Communicate with the Service Advisor so customers can be informed if additional service is needed and provide time estimates for repairs.
• Execute repairs under warranty to manufacturer specifications.
