John Elway Chevrolet in Englewood, CO is seeking an experienced Used Car Technician to join our fast-paced, supportive team. We service all makes and models, from daily drivers to European vehicles, and offer premium pay and a robust benefits package.

Qualified candidates will diagnose and repair vehicles, possess a self-owned scanner, and maintain GM certification. Training will be provided; weekends may be required based on backlog. Join the #1 Chevrolet dealership in Colorado.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in diagnosing and repairing vehicles.
• Required self-owned scanner tool.
• Familiar with all makes and models.
• European vehicle experience preferred.
• ASE certifications preferred.
• Previous automotive technician experience required.
• Dexterity and hand-eye coordination.
• Ability to read and interpret documents and write reports.

Responsibilities

• Perform work on repair orders with efficiency per dealership standards.
• Routine inspections and maintenance.
• Road test vehicles and test systems using diagnostic tools.
• Diagnose, maintain, and repair vehicle systems including engine, transmission, electrical, steering, suspension, brakes, AC.
• Communicate with Service Advisor about additional repairs and time estimates.
• Attend GM training and maintain GM Certification.
• Monday–Friday with some weekends depending on backlog.
• Attend training classes as needed.
