Job summary

Ken Garff Automotive Group is seeking a Used Car Technician at the Blackridge Fleet Center in West Valley City, UT. You will diagnose, repair, and inspect vehicles to meet dealership and factory standards with a focus on quality and efficiency.

You will use Tekion for timekeeping, inspections, and quotations, while maintaining tools and a clean workspace. The role offers paid training, benefits, and opportunities for career growth within a respected automotive group.

Qualifications

• 2 to 3 years of automotive technician experience preferred.
• Authorized to work in the U.S. with a valid driver’s license.
• Must be 18 years or older and able to work locally in West Valley City, UT.
• High School Diploma or equivalent required.

Responsibilities

• Perform efficient and expert work on repair orders, in accordance with dealership, state and factory standards; maintain knowledge of all factory-technical bulletins.
• Address customers’ primary concerns with diagnosis, repair, and quality control to attain ‘Fixed First Visit’ expectations.
• Perform the BR Electronic Multi Point Inspection on every vehicle and notify Service Advisor if more issues are found or will take longer.
• Master the Tekion Dealer Management System for time keeping, work distribution, inspections, quotes and communication.
• Be accountable for all company tools and maintain a clean workspace with a ‘leave no trace’ standard.
