Job summary

Five Star Chevrolet is seeking experienced Used Car Automotive Technicians to join our team in Warner Robins, GA. You will perform repairs under warranty, test components with diagnostics, and liaise with Parts and Service Advisors to ensure timely completion of work.

Qualifications

• Experience as automotive technician in a dealership setting.
• ASE certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Execute repairs under warranty to manufacturer specifications.
• Test-drive vehicles and test components using diagnostic tools.
• Communicate with parts department to obtain needed parts.
• Inspect fluid levels and replace or replenish as necessary.
• Check tire pressure and service as needed.
• Perform multi-point inspections on pre-owned vehicles.
• Recondition as per Used Car Manager's authorization.
• Maintain accountability for dealership tools and manuals.
• Drain oil and refill to required amount; replace filters.
• Communicate with service advisors regarding services needed.
• Provide an estimate of time needed for additional repairs.
• Perform work on repair orders with efficiency and accuracy.
