Job summary

Five Star Chevrolet in Warner Robins, GA is seeking experienced used car automotive technicians. You will perform repairs under warranty to manufacturer specifications and conduct tests of vehicles and components using diagnostic tools and equipment.

You will collaborate with the parts department, inspect fluids and tire pressures, and complete multi-point inspections on pre-owned vehicles. Responsibilities include timely repair work and clear communication with service advisors.

Responsibilities

• Execute repairs under warranty to manufacturer specifications.
• Test-drive vehicles and test components and systems using diagnostic tools and special service equipment.
• Communicate with parts department to obtain needed parts.
• Inspect vehicle fluid levels and replace or replenish as necessary.
• Check tire pressure and service as needed.
• Perform multi-point inspections on pre-owned vehicles.
• Recondition as per used car manager's authorization.
• Maintain accountability for all dealership-owned tools and manuals.
• Drain oil from crankcase and refill with required amount of oil, replace oil and air filters.
• Communicate directly with service advisors regarding services needed.
• Provide an estimate of time needed for additional repairs.
• Perform work specified on the repair order with efficiency and accuracy.
