Hertrich Family of Dealerships is seeking experienced Used Car Technicians / Reconditioning Mechanics to support our high-volume pre-owned inventory. This role offers steady hours, strong pay, and a busy shop environment with a five‑day workweek and no Sundays.

Qualifications

• 3-5+ years automotive technician experience (used car/recon preferred).
• ASE certifications are a plus.
• Valid Driver's License with clean driving record.
• High School Diploma or GED required.

Responsibilities

• Perform used vehicle inspections and reconditioning repairs.
• Diagnose and repair mechanical and electrical issues.
• Complete safety inspections and ensure vehicles are front-line ready.
• Perform brakes, tires, suspension, and general maintenance repairs.
• Work closely with service advisors and parts departments.
• Maintain accurate repair orders and documentation.
• Keep a clean, safe, and organized workspace.
