Job summary

Kia of Frisco, a Lithia dealership, seeks an experienced Internal/Used Car Technician to inspect, diagnose, and recondition pre-owned vehicles for frontline readiness. The role is onsite and reports to the Shop Foreman, focusing on a steady used-car workflow.

You will work across mechanical, electrical, drivability, and HVAC concerns, using scan tools and service information while collaborating with Service, Parts, and Used Car teams to keep arrivals moving smoothly.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of automotive technician experience.
• Experience working on multiple makes and models.
• Dealership or independent repair experience.
• ASE Certifications.
• Experience with mechanical, electrical, and drivability repairs.

Responsibilities

• Inspect and recondition used vehicle inventory.
• Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, drivability, brake, suspension, steering, and HVAC concerns.
• Complete maintenance and repairs needed for frontline readiness.
• Identify and document recommended repairs.
• Perform quality and safety inspections.
• Meet internal production and turnaround expectations.
• Use scan tools and electronic service information.
• Partner with Service, Parts, and Used Car teams to keep vehicles moving.
• Maintain accurate repair orders and documentation.
