Job summary

Lithia & Driveway is seeking an experienced Internal/Used Car Technician to join our Service Team at Kia of Frisco. This onsite role focuses on inspecting, diagnosing, repairing, and reconditioning pre-owned vehicles to frontline readiness.

The technician reports to the Shop Foreman and works with the Service, Parts, and Used Car teams. ASE certifications are encouraged, and ongoing training is supported.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of automotive technician experience.
• Experience servicing multiple makes and models.
• ASE certifications preferred or in progress.
• Valid driver's license with clean record.

Responsibilities

• Inspect and recondition used vehicle inventory.
• Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, drivability, brake, suspension, steering and HVAC concerns.
• Complete maintenance and repairs for frontline readiness.
• Identify and document recommended repairs.
• Perform quality and safety inspections.
• Meet internal production and turnaround expectations.
• Use scan tools and electronic service information.
• Partner with Service, Parts, and Used Car teams to keep vehicles moving.
• Maintain accurate repair orders and documentation.
