Job summary

EchoPark Automotive in Houston, TX is hiring a Full-Time Automotive Technician to repair and maintain our selection of preowned vehicles. The role offers a collaborative shop environment, with guaranteed hours and salary plus bonus potential.

You will perform lubrication, brake and tire work, suspension, alignments and inspections, with no heavy-body work. Requirements include 6 months of mechanic experience or Auto Tech School, own tools, valid license, and a strong work ethic.

Qualifications

• At least 6 months of automotive mechanic experience or Auto Tech School certification.
• Own a set of tools and valid driver's license with good driving record.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Strong work ethic and ability to learn quickly.
• Team player with positive attitude and willingness to follow directions.

Responsibilities

• Perform vehicle repair and maintenance per dealer and factory standards.
• Lube, filter, brake and tire repair as needed.
• Handle suspension and alignments and conduct vehicle inspections.
• No heavy-line or body work required.

Job Description

EchoPark Automotive is hiring a Full-Time Automotive Technician for our dealership located in North Houston, Texas. Our technicians enjoy a very collaborative environment, very different from a traditional "dog eat dog" shop.

What You'll Do:

The Service Technician is responsible for performing vehicle repair and maintenance work as assigned in accordance with dealer and factory standards. Our technicians inspect and repair our selection of preowned vehicles.

• Lube, filter, flushes
• Brake and tire repair
• Suspension and alignments
• Vehicle inspection
• No heavy-line or body work

What We're Looking For:

• At least 6 months of previous Automotive Mechanic experience, or Auto Tech School certification
• Own a set of tools
• Valid driver's license and a good driving record
• High school diploma or the equivalent
• Strong work ethic and thrive in fast paced environment
• Ability to follow directions and willingness to learn
• Respect for teammates and positive outlook
