Job summary

EchoPark Automotive is hiring a Full-Time Automotive Technician for our shop located in Stafford, TX. Our technicians work in a collaborative, fair environment and repair a curated selection of preowned vehicles, eight years and newer, most under 80,000 miles.

The role includes performing routine maintenance, brake/tire work, suspensions, and inspections while avoiding heavy-line or body work. You’ll need a tool set, a valid license, and a strong work ethic to thrive in our fast-paced shop.

Qualifications

• 6+ months automotive repair experience or Auto Tech School certification.
• Own a set of tools.
• Valid driver’s license and good driving record.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Strong work ethic and thrive in fast-paced environment.
• Ability to follow directions and willingness to learn.
• Respect for teammates and positive outlook.

Responsibilities

• Perform vehicle repair and maintenance in accordance with dealer and factory standards.
• Inspect and repair preowned vehicles (8 years and newer, most under 80,000 miles).
• Lube, filter, flushes.
• Brake and tire repair.
• Suspension and alignments.
• Vehicle inspection.
• No heavy-line or body work.

What You’ll Do:

The Service Technician is responsible for performing vehicle repair and maintenance work as assigned in accordance with dealer and factory standards. Our technicians inspect and repair our selection of preowned vehicles (8 years and newer, most under 80,000 miles).

What We’re Looking For:

• At least 6 months of previous AutomotiveMechanicexperience, or Auto Tech School certification
• Own a set of tools
• Valid driver’s license and a gooddriving record
• High school diploma or the equivalent
• Strongwork ethicand thrive in fast paced environment
• Ability to follow directions andwillingness to learn
