Job summary

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.

Ken Garff Toyota Cheyenne is looking for a Used Car Technician to join our team of automotive service technicians. This role focuses on diagnosing, repairing, and ensuring the quality of vehicles in line with dealership, state, and factory standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform efficient and expert work on repair orders, adhering to dealership, state, and factory standards.
• Address customers’ primary concerns with diagnosis, repair, and quality control to achieve "Fixed First Visit" expectations.
• Conduct the Ken Garff Electronic Multi Point Inspection and produce video evidence for every vehicle.
• Notify the Service Advisor if additional recommendations or extra time is required.
• Master the Dealer Management System (DMS) for work distribution, electronic inspections, repair quotes, communication, and time‑keeping.
• Complete required training assignments.
• Maintain cleanliness of the workspace and all customer vehicles.

Qualifications & Requirements

• Prior automotive technician (mechanic) experience.
• A.S.E. or dealership manufacturer certifications highly preferred.
• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum 18 years of age and authorized to work in the U.S. with a valid in‑state driver’s license and a good driving record.

Compensation & Benefits

Flat rate hourly pay ranging from $20 to $60, depending on experience.
