Job summary

Ken Garff Honda of Riverdale in Ogden is seeking an Automotive Service Technician (Mechanic) to perform repairs to factory standards with emphasis on quality and customer service.

The role requires 3–5 years of import technician experience, a high school diploma, and valid US work authorization with a driver's license. ASE or dealership certifications are highly preferred, with a PRO TECH program and comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of import technician experience.
• ASE or dealership manufacturer certifications preferred.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Must be 18+ with work authorization in the U.S. and a valid driver's license.

Responsibilities

• Perform efficient repairs on repair orders in accordance with standards.
• Address customers' concerns with diagnosis and quality control.
• Perform the Ken Garff Electronic Multi Point Inspection and document findings.
• Learn and use the Dealer Management System for work distribution and time keeping.
• Complete required training as assigned.
• Maintain cleanliness throughout workspace and in customer vehicles.

Looking for:

• 3-5 Years Import technicianian experience
• Accommodating and analytical, while producing highly precise and accurate work
• Resourceful and seeks a high level of technical expertise
• Unselfish and approachable with a preference for detailed, skill-based work
• Prior automotive technician (mechanic) experience preferred
• ASE or dealership manufacturer certifications highly preferred
• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Must be 18 years or older and be authorized to work in the U.S with a valid in-state drivers license and a good driving record, per company standards

What youll do as an Automotive Service Technician (Mechanic):

• Perform efficient and expert work on repair orders, in accordance with dealership, state and factory standards
• Address customers primary concerns with diagnosis, repair and quality control to attain Fixed First Visit expectations
• Perform the Ken Garff Electronic Multi Point Inspection along with video on every vehicle; immediately notify Service Advisor if the car has additional recommendations or if more time is needed to complete the repair
• Master our Dealer Management System (DMS) for work distribution, electronic inspections, repair quotes, communication and time keeping
• Complete required training as assigned
• Maintain cleanliness throughout workspace and in all customer vehicles
