Qualifications

• Previous experience as a service technician is required.
• Strong automotive background.
• ASE certifications preferred.

Responsibilities

• Execute repairs under warranty to manufacturer specifications.
• Test-drive vehicles and use diagnostic tools to verify repairs.
• Keep the shop area neat and clean.
• Communicate with parts department to obtain needed parts.
• Inspect fluid levels and replace as needed.
• Operate tools and equipment safely.
• Check tire pressure and inflate as needed.
• Perform multi-point inspections on pre-owned vehicles.
• Recondition vehicles as authorized by the used car manager.
• Maintain accountability for dealership-owned tools and manuals.
• Provide estimates of time for additional services.
• Complete work per the repair order efficiently and to dealership standards.
