Job summary

Audi of Lubbock is seeking a skilled Service Technician to perform repairs, diagnostics, and maintenance on vehicles. You will work with the service team to ensure quality, efficiency, and customer satisfaction in a fast-paced dealership environment.

Qualifications

• Prior service technician experience is required.
• ASE certifications are preferred but not mandatory.
• Must be willing to undergo MVR, background check and pre-employment drug test.

Responsibilities

• Perform work specified on repair orders with efficiency and dealership standards.
• Test-drive vehicles and components using diagnostic tools and equipment.
• Diagnose, maintain, and repair engine, transmission, electrical, steering, brakes, and HVAC systems.
• Communicate with Service Advisor about additional repairs and time estimates.
• Complete tasks in a timely manner and maintain records of maintenance and repair work.
• Perform warranty repairs per manufacturer specifications.
• Keep work area clean and follow safety regulations.
• Take on other duties as assigned by management.

Incentives we are offering:

• If you are a recent graduate of an accredited technical school (graduated within the last 24 month) $625 per month tuition reimbursement for 2 year ($15,000 in total)
• Aggressive sign on bonuses with guaranteed hours - up to $15,000 based on level, and certifications.

Here is what you will be doing:

• Perform work specified on the repair order with efficiency and in accordance with dealership standards.
• Test-drive vehicles, and test components and systems, using diagnostic tools and special service equipment.
• Diagnose, maintain, and repair vehicle automotive systems including engine, transmission, electrical steering, suspension, brakes, air conditioning, etc.
• Communicate directly with the Service Advisor so that customers can be informed if any additional service is needed. Provide an estimate of time needed for additional repairs.
• Complete all tasks assigned in a timely manner and maintain accurate records of all maintenance and repair work.
• Execute repairs under warranty to manufacturer specifications.
• Maintain the work area in a clean and orderly condition and follow prescribed safety regulations.
• Any other duties as assigned by Management

Here is what you will need:

• Previous experience as a service technician required
• Strong automotive background
• Manufacture ASE certifications preferred
• Submit to and successfully complete MVR, background check, and pre-employment drug test.
• Valid driver's license
