Job summary

Chapman BMW Chandler is seeking a skilled Used Car Reconditioning Technician to inspect, diagnose, and repair trade-ins and vehicles for our pre-owned inventory. You will ensure vehicles are safe, reliable, and ready for their new owner.

We offer competitive flag hour rates, annual income $60,000–$80,000, ongoing training, a collaborative team, and generous benefits including health coverage, 401(k), and PTO. Own tools required; valid driver’s license a must.

Qualifications

• Minimum 4 years of automotive inspections, diagnostics and maintenance.
• BMW experience and certifications are preferred; ASE certifications are a plus.
• Demonstrates thorough workmanship and strong troubleshooting skills.
• Owns tools and toolbox; ability to work as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive multi-point inspections on used cars; document findings and repairs.
• Conduct diagnostics and repairs on engine, electrical, suspension, brakes, and HVAC systems.
• Inform Service Director of additional services and estimated time to complete work.
• Process repair orders according to dealership standards; record all work.
