Genesis of Lindon, part of Murdock Auto Team, seeks a motivated Used Car Buyer to grow pre-owned inventory. You will source, evaluate, and negotiate on vehicles to meet customer needs and pricing strategy.

Collaborate with management, sales, and service to prepare cars for sale and ensure a professional buying experience. Travel to auctions and maintain purchase records in compliance with policies.

Qualificações

• Experience in automotive buying, appraisal, or related dealership roles.
• Knowledge of vehicle values, market trends, and appraisal tools.
• Strong negotiation, communication, and relationship-building skills.
• Attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple purchases and deadlines.
• Sound judgment, integrity, and accountability.
• A valid driver’s license and an acceptable driving record.
• Availability to travel locally and attend auctions as needed.

Responsabilidades

• Source and purchase pre-owned vehicles through auctions, online marketplaces, dealership relationships, and direct purchases from customers.
• Evaluate vehicle condition, history reports, market value, and estimated reconditioning costs.
• Negotiate purchases within approved budgets and buying guidelines.
• Monitor market trends, inventory levels, and sales performance to identify buying opportunities.
• Respond promptly to customers interested in selling their vehicles and provide a professional, straightforward experience.
• Coordinate purchase paperwork, title documentation, transportation, and vehicle arrival.
• Work with sales and service teams to prepare purchased vehicles for sale.
• Follow dealership purchasing policies and obtain required approvals.

Genesis of Lindon is looking for a motivated Used Car Buyer to help grow our pre-owned inventory. If you know vehicles, enjoy negotiating, and can recognize a strong buying opportunity, we would love to meet you.

You will work closely with dealership management to source quality vehicles that fit our customers’ needs, inventory goals, and pricing strategy.

What You’ll Do

• Source and purchase pre-owned vehicles through auctions, online marketplaces, dealership relationships, and direct purchases from customers.
• Evaluate vehicle condition, history reports, market value, and estimated reconditioning costs.
