Carzby in Michigan is seeking a skilled Body Shop Technician to support both retail and wholesale operations. This role involves repairing, restoring, and refinishing vehicles to pre-accident condition while maintaining high standards of quality, efficiency, and customer satisfaction.

The ideal candidate is experienced in collision repair, works well independently and as part of a team, and can manage a steady workflow from multiple sources.

Formación

• 5+ years of auto body repair experience.
• Strong knowledge of body repair techniques, tools, and materials.
• Ability to work on multiple vehicles and meet deadlines.
• Attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
• Valid driver’s license.

Responsabilidades

• Perform body repairs including dent removal, panel replacement, rust removal and repair.
• Prepare vehicles for painting, including sanding, masking, priming, and minor refinishing.
• Collaborate with estimators and parts departments to ensure accurate and timely repairs.
• Inspect completed work to ensure it meets quality and safety standards.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
• Operate tools and equipment properly and follow all safety guidelines.
• Communicate progress and any issues with supervisors or team members.

Key Responsibilities: (MUST HAVE OWN TOOLS)

• Perform body repairs including dent removal, panel replacement, rust removal and repair
• Prepare vehicles for painting, including sanding, masking, priming, and minor refinishing
• Collaborate with estimators and parts departments to ensure accurate and timely repairs
• Inspect completed work to ensure it meets quality and safety standards
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
• Operate tools and equipment properly and follow all safety guidelines

Qualifications:

• Previous experience (5+ years) as an auto body technician or collision repair specialist
• Strong knowledge of body repair techniques, tools, and materials
• Ability to work on multiple vehicles and meet deadlines
• Attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship
• Valid driver's license (required)
