Job summary

Swope Motorsports is seeking an Internal Work Technician to inspect, diagnose, recondition, assemble, and prep motorcycles for showroom and guest delivery. You will work with Service, Parts, Sales, and Accessories to ensure inventory readiness and guest satisfaction.

The role requires mechanical and electrical diagnostic skills, knowledge of powersports, and the ability to read service manuals. A valid motorcycle endorsement and background checks are preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum 2 years of motorcycle service experience preferred.
• Strong mechanical and electrical diagnostic skills.
• Experience with powersports, motorcycle, ATV, or similar vehicle repair.
• Ability to read and interpret service manuals and technical documents.
• Valid motorcycle endorsement and driver’s license preferred.
• Ability to safely operate motorcycles of various makes and models.

Responsibilities

• Inspect and reconditioning of motorcycles to meet safety and dealership standards.
• Diagnose and repair engine, electrical, suspension, braking and fuel systems.
• Assemble new motorcycles and install guest-requested upgrades.
• Perform pre-delivery inspections and ensure proper operation before sale.
• Maintain accurate documentation of inspections and repairs.
• Ensure compliance with safety policies and manufacturer procedures.
