A community-focused mental health organization in North Carolina is seeking a Family Partner to support children, adolescents, and their families. This role involves collaborating with families to overcome challenges and develop stable environments for children experiencing mental health and developmental disabilities. Candidates must be empathetic, have relevant experience, and be willing to obtain a Certified Family Partner certification.

Starting Pay: from $16.00/hour
Qualified candidates must already have, or be willing to obtain, a Certified Family Partners (CFP) certification upon hire.
This position will serve children, adolescents or transition-age youth. They must have lived experience with decision making abilities for a child or adolescent with a mental health, intellectual and developmental disability, and/or substance use diagnosis AND hold one of the following combinations of education and experience (please read carefully):
The Family Partner is responsible for partnering with the youth and the family for support to help meet the behavioral and emotional needs following a crisis. Through their lived experience, the Family Partner will teach the families how to overcome challenges, overcome difficulties and archive a more stable family life for the youth and families.

Education We\'re Looking For: Associates: Human Services, Bachelors: Human Services, High School Diploma (Required)
Certifications We\'re Looking For: Certified Family Partner (CFP) - State Certification Board, Drivers License (Valid) - USA
Experience We\'re Looking For: Experience in navigating any of the child and family-serving systems and teaching the family members who are involved | Required Experience working with children, adolescents or transition-age youth | 1-4 years (Dependent Upon Education - see Job Description) | Required lived experience as a primary caregiver for a child who has/had mental health, substance use disorders, or intellectual/development disability | Required
Schedule: Rotating schedule to meet the needs of the people we support. Team will be available 7 days/week between 8:00am-11:00pm.
Target Weekly Hours: 40
