Job summary

Lineage Logistics is seeking a detail-oriented Import/Export/Logistics professional to ensure timely product movements in compliance with safety regulations across state lines. You will file and maintain customer profiles, manage documentation for customs clearance, and bill services while monitoring USDA/import/export regulatory changes.

The role requires solid communication skills, problem solving, and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

  • 3 years’ Import/Export or Logistics experience; or combination of education and experience.
  • Proficient computer skills including Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to interact with internal and external customers.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent organizational skills and the ability to function in a fast paced, highly visible, and changing environment.
  • Demonstrated ability to prioritize and multi-task various and conflicting responsibilities.

Responsibilities

  • Ensure products arrive to the correct locations timely, while certifying all safety regulations are met when moving between state/province/region/territory lines.
  • Responsible for the accurate filing of Customer Profile entries.
  • Manage, monitor, and maintain records on required documents; and resolve all issues to obtain customs clearance.
  • Understand customer’s business, requirements, and rate structure; issue invoices for services rendered and accrue costs in system.
  • Review and update customer files.
