Job summary

Chugach Government Solutions is seeking a Software Engineer II in Moorestown, NJ to support USCG C2/C4ISR programs. You will collaborate with government and engineering teams to design, integrate, test, and sustain mission-critical systems aboard USCG assets.

The role requires expertise across Linux, Windows, virtualization, and modern software lifecycles, plus travel up to 30%. A DoD clearance and relevant certifications are preferred to ensure robust cyber and system integrity.

Qualifications

• US citizen.
• BS in Computer Sciences or Engineering Field.
• Active DoD Secret security clearance.
• CompTIA Security+ or higher.
• RHEL or Windows administrator certifications.
• Five years of C4ISR or DoD experience.
• Travel up to 30%.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Background check and pre-hire drug test.
• Experience with Sea Commander System or Navy C2 Systems.

Responsibilities

• Design, integrate, test, and sustain USCG C2 and C4ISR systems with stakeholders.
• Provide engineering support across software development, integration, and testing.
• Support installation, configuration, and integration on USCG assets.
• Develops and supports OCRs for USCG C2 systems.
• Maintain software configurations and documentation.
• Evaluate new software, environments, and technologies.
• Apply knowledge of Linux, Linux Containers, Windows, VMware.
• Provide remote and fly-away support to USCG assets.
• Support cybersecurity compliance activities (IDS/IPS, SIEM, ACAS/Nessus, RMF).
