Job summary

Chugach Government Solutions (CGS) seeks a Subject Matter Expert (MEIT) to support USCG and Navy C2/C4ISR systems in Moorestown, NJ, with up to 25% travel. The role focuses on system integration, testing, and sustainment, collaborating with government and industry partners to deliver robust capabilities.

You will lead engineering discussions, review interfaces, and guide operations while mentoring junior engineers and ensuring mission success across diverse environments.

Qualifications

• U.S. Citizen with Active DoD Secret security clearance.
• Minimum of seven years of experience with military electronics systems.
• Willingness to travel up to 25% CONUS/OCONUS.
• High school diploma with Military experience.
• Must be able to pass pre-employment background check and drug test.

Responsibilities

• Serve as SME on US Navy and USCG C2 systems, guiding government, engineering and operational stakeholders.
• Provide engineering support for Navy/USCG Combat System elements and interfaces (e.g., IFF, SPQ-9B, SPS-75, NAVSSI).
• Read and interpret system drawings, interface diagrams, and technical manuals for integration and testing.
• Lead multidisciplinary teams and mentor junior engineers during integration and testing.
• Conduct installation checkout, operational testing, and post-installation troubleshooting.
