Walmart in Jacksonville, FL is seeking a Tractor-Trailer Operator to support its distribution network. You will work with drivers and teammates to move trailers, perform safety inspections, and maintain accurate records for compliance. • Minimum 6 months experience operating tractor/trailer units.

What you’ll do…

• Communicate with or to individuals or groups verbally andor in writing eg customers suppliers associates
• Maintain trailers by inspecting to ensure that mechanical safety and emergency equipment is in good working order maintaining proper fuel levels and performing trailer inventory checks
• Utilize warehouse management systems eg yard management system radio to move trailers to designated locations within the yard
• Ensure quality by maintaining records logs and forms including any forms required by the Department of Transportation DOT
• Operate tractortrailer unit safely by adhering to all safety requirements to include placing trailers in designated locations

The hourly wage range for this position is $22.40 - $25.90* *The actual hourly rate will equal or exceed the required minimum wage applicable to the job location. Additional compensation in the form of premiums may be paid in amounts ranging from $0.35 per hour to $3.00 per hour in specific circumstances. Premiums may be based on schedule, facility, season, or specific work performed. Multiple premiums may apply if applicable criteria are met.
