Additional notes: Role will require repetitive motion. Must be able to handle/move heavy objects, 75+ lbs repeatedly. Noise level in the work environment is moderately loud. Will train on processes.
Title: Assoc, Warehouse
The Warehouse Associate performs multiple functions related to product readiness for patient utilization on a wide range of rental and customer owned medical products. Performance of minor repairs and routine parts exchange will be expected.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: – Other duties may be assigned:
• Safety
o Attend monthly safety meetings.
o Demonstrate a proactive approach to safety awareness and compliance.
o Complete all required safety and compliance learning modules timely.
o Maintain a clean and safe work environment, including 5S activities.
o Identify safety concerns and address them.
• Repair & Maintenance
o Load, unload, and move wheeled medical products, weighing up to 1680 pounds, using appropriate safety techniques.
o Maneuver and secure medical products within truck beds, unassisted.
o Perform sweeping, mopping, and general housekeeping.
o Troubleshoot and complete minor repairs to products, including electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, or cosmetic issues.
o Conduct routine cleaning & maintenance procedures.
o Perform pre-installation maintenance, including preventive maintenance and inspections, to include visual, audible, manual inspections, and adjustments.
o Use appropriate tools for repairs and adjustments.
o Monitor electronic meters and gauges.
• Flexibility
o Provide coverage including weekends and holidays.
o Adapt to changing daily schedules.
o Exercise sound judgment to plan and organize effectively.
• Recordkeeping
o Complete documents, reports, and forms.
o Read and understand technical bulletins.
o Use electronic devices (PC, smartphone, tablet) for data entry and analysis.
EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS:
• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Experience with medical devices and/or FDA regulated products preferred.
• Mechanical/hands-on experience preferred.
• Occasional overtime.
• Good communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage time.
• Conflict resolution skills.
• Ability to interpret technical manuals and schematics.
• Basic math skills.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
• Moderate noise level.
• Use of PPE required.
• May work in environments with biohazards.
• Must comply with infection control policies.
