A leading company in retail is seeking a Vision Center Manager to oversee sales and service within the Vision Center. This role involves managing inventory, leading a team of Associates, and ensuring compliance with company policies to deliver exceptional customer experiences. Ideal candidates should have supervisory experience and a legal eligibility to work as an optician.
Drives sales in the Vision Center by ensuring effective merchandise presentation, including accurate and competitive pricing, proper signing, and maintaining in-stock inventory levels. Responsible for budgeting, forecasting sales, assessing economic trends and community needs.
Models, enforces, and provides guidance to Associates on customer service techniques to ensure customer needs are met within company standards.
Oversees community outreach programs, encourages Associates to serve as good community members, and ensures compliance with company policies and legal regulations through report analysis, safety controls, and performance reviews.
Provides supervision and development opportunities for Associates, including hiring, training, mentoring, and recognition, fostering a workplace of belonging.
Ensures the provision of quality eyewear by consulting with customers, selecting products, taking measurements, verifying prescriptions, maintaining confidentiality, and performing minor repairs.
Supports company policies and strategic initiatives, building high-performing teams, and creating a culture of respect and integrity.
Delivers results with a customer-first approach, making data-driven decisions, and encouraging continuous improvement and technological adoption.

Completion of 2+ years of college or equivalent experience, including retail and supervisory roles, or 2 years of general work experience with optical background.
High school diploma or equivalent.
Legal eligibility to work as an optician or apprentice in accordance with state laws.
Experience supervising Associates.
