Base pay range

$38.00/hr - $50.00/hr

Position Summary

What you'll do...

• Drive sales in the Vision Center by ensuring effective merchandise presentation, accurate and competitive pricing, proper signing, in-stock inventory levels, budgeting, and forecasting sales.
• Assess economic trends and community needs.
• Model, enforce, and guide Associates on customer service approaches to ensure customer satisfaction.
• Oversee community outreach programs and encourage Associates to serve as good community members.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, legal regulations, and safety standards.
• Analyze reports, implement asset protection and safety controls, and develop performance improvement plans.
• Provide supervision, training, mentoring, and development opportunities for Associates.
• Maintain quality eyewear services by consulting with customers, selecting products, taking measurements, verifying prescriptions, and performing minor repairs.
• Uphold the company's Open Door Policy by engaging with Associates to address concerns.
• Coordinate activities with stakeholders, support business initiatives, and promote continuous learning.
• Lead a culture of belonging, emphasizing diversity, equity, and inclusion.

The hourly wage range is $38.50-$50.00, with additional compensation including bonuses and regional pay zones.

Minimum Qualifications

• Completion of 2+ years of college OR 1 year retail and supervisory experience OR 2 years general work including optical experience.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Eligibility to work as an optician or apprentice optician under state laws.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience supervising associates.
