Base pay range

$20.00/hr - $27.00/hr

Position Summary

As a Tire & Battery Center Technician, you will work to provide safe and efficient service in both the sales and service areas of the department and deliver to our members more of what they love, for less. You will work collaboratively with other associates to ensure the club meets the member’s expectations.

What you'll do
  1. Be a Team Member: Collaborate with team members to fulfill sales and service requests; educate other associates on tools, tasks, resources, and mentor new technicians; communicate and develop interpersonal skills for providing safe and efficient customer service.
  2. Be an Expert: Demonstrate knowledge of safety and compliance protocols, tire and battery industry guidelines, service standards, equipment operations, TPMS, product specifications, and seasonality; knowledge of Point of Sale systems, phone, and in-person selling techniques.
  3. Be a Techie: Use digital tools to plan for and drive sales, improve the service experience, and elevate engagement; utilize handheld technology to make immediate business decisions; adapt to new tools and encourage others to use them.
  4. Be an Owner: Communicate equipment, tools, and supplies needs; track returns and orders; operate cash registers; process transactions; maintain inventory and safety standards; report issues; complete documentation; assist members with purchasing decisions.
  5. Be a Talent Ambassador: Advocate for the brand by valuing member experience; develop and inspire others; support team-oriented work style.
  6. Comply: Follow company policies, procedures, and ethics; use the Open Door Policy; implement related action plans.
  7. Complete Work: Use policies, data, and resources; collaborate with stakeholders; prioritize tasks; communicate progress; seek improvements; adapt to feedback.

We offer competitive pay, performance bonuses, and benefits including health, retirement, paid time off, disability, and education programs. The hourly wage range is $20.00 to $27.00, with possible premiums based on specific circumstances.
