Position Summary: As a Tire & Battery Center Technician, you will work to provide safe and efficient service in both the sales and service areas of the department, delivering more of what members love, for less. You will collaborate with other associates to ensure the club meets member expectations.

What you'll do:

1. Be a Team Member: Collaborate with team members to fulfill sales and service requests; educate others on tools, tasks, and resources; mentor new technicians; communicate effectively to provide safe and efficient customer service.
2. Be an Expert: Demonstrate knowledge of safety protocols, tire and battery industry guidelines, service standards, equipment operation, TPMS, product specifications, seasonality, POS systems, and selling techniques.
3. Be a Techie: Use digital tools and handheld technology to plan sales, improve service, and enhance engagement; adapt to new tools and encourage others to do the same.
4. Be an Owner: Manage equipment, tools, supplies, inventory, and documentation; operate cash registers; assist members with purchasing decisions; report safety hazards and issues; ensure proper packaging and storage of merchandise.
5. Be a Talent Ambassador: Promote high-quality service and products; develop and inspire team members; model respectful and supportive behavior.
6. Comply with company policies, procedures, and ethics; use the Open Door Policy; implement related action plans.
7. Complete work assignments by collaborating with managers and colleagues, prioritizing tasks, communicating progress, and learning from feedback and change.
