Job description

Position Summary...

As a Tire & Battery Center Technician, you will work to provide safe and efficient service in both the sales and service areas of the department, delivering more of what our members love, for less. You will collaborate with other associates to ensure the club meets members' expectations.

What you'll do...
  1. Be a Team Member: Collaborate with team members to fulfill sales and service requests, educate others on tools, tasks, resources, and mentor new technicians, while developing interpersonal skills for providing safe and efficient customer service.
  2. Be an Expert: Demonstrate knowledge of safety and compliance protocols, industry guidelines, service standards, equipment operations, TPMS, product specifications, and seasonality. Show proficiency with Point of Sale systems, phone, and in-person selling techniques.
  3. Be a Techie: Utilize digital tools to plan and drive sales, improve service, and increase associate engagement, using handheld technology for business decisions related to services, safety, new products, and training.
  4. Be an Owner: Communicate needs for equipment, tools, and supplies; track returns and special orders; operate cash registers; maintain inventory, safety, and compliance standards; report safety hazards and issues; complete documentation; assist members with purchases and resolve concerns.
  5. Be a Talent Ambassador: Promote the brand by valuing member experience, modeling high-quality service, developing others, and fostering a respectful, supportive, team-oriented environment.

Adhere to company policies, procedures, and standards of ethics and integrity, implementing action plans and using the Open Door Policy. Complete work assignments by prioritizing tasks, communicating progress, and seeking continuous improvement.
