Position Summary

As a Tire & Battery Center Technician, you will work to provide safe and efficient service in both the sales and service areas of the department, delivering more of what our members love, for less. You will collaborate with other associates to ensure the club meets members' expectations.

What you'll do

• Be a Team Member: Collaborate with team members to fulfill sales and service requests; educate others on tools, tasks, resources, mentor new technicians, and communicate effectively to provide safe and efficient customer service.
• Be an Expert: Demonstrate knowledge of safety and compliance protocols, tire and battery industry standards, service procedures, equipment, TPMS, product specifications, and seasonality; proficient with Point of Sale systems, phone, and in-person sales techniques.
• Be a Techie: Use digital tools to plan sales, improve service, and engage with associates; utilize handheld technology for business decisions related to services, safety, new products, training, and adapt to new tools.
• Be an Owner: Manage equipment, tools, supplies, inventory, and safety standards; process transactions; assist members with purchasing decisions; report issues; complete documentation; ensure proper packaging, labeling, and storage.
• Be a Talent Ambassador: Promote the brand by delivering high-quality service, developing others, and fostering a respectful, supportive team environment.
• Follow company policies, procedures, and ethical standards, using the Open Door Policy and executing business practices accordingly.
• Complete work assignments by prioritizing tasks, collaborating with stakeholders, and seeking continuous improvement.
