As a Supermarket Rack Refrigeration HVAC Technician, you will support and oversee repairs within Walmart's Refrigeration HVAC equipment team, utilizing commercial HVAC and Refrigeration skills, hand tools, digital tools, power tools, and other equipment.

Minimum Qualifications:

• 2 years’ experience in commercial Refrigeration HVAC maintenance
• Large Scale Rack Refrigeration Experience
• Type I/Type II or Universal EPA Certification for Refrigerant handling
• Valid state-issued driver’s license with a clean driving record and ability to pass MVR
• 18 years or older with a High School Diploma or equivalent

Key Responsibilities:

• Maintain and repair Walmart facility's Refrigeration HVAC equipment using appropriate skills and tools.
• Utilize the work order management system to support stores and document activities.
• Respond promptly to emergency maintenance calls.
• Inspect, operate, or test facilities and equipment to diagnose issues.
• Complete required training for safe operation of equipment and tools.
• Ensure compliance with OSHA and EPA regulations, following Walmart's safety policies.
• Lift up to 75 pounds, work at heights, and work with ladders frequently.

Minimum Qualifications...

Vocational or Technical HVAC/R certification plus 2 years of experience in mechanical maintenance or construction-related field for commercial HVAC/R and controls, or 4 years of similar experience. EPA Type I/Type II Certification for refrigerant handling is required.

Preferred Qualifications...

Completion of a 2-year Vocational or Technical HVAC/R program, or a Mechanical license in the job location's city/state.
