Job summary

LanceSoft is seeking a Technician Lab II in Sugar Land, TX to perform laboratory testing, inspections, and sampling for analysis. You will record results, calibrate equipment, and support QA/QC alongside engineers, with a focus on safety and accuracy.

The role requires a high school diploma or GED (associate degree preferred) and proficiency with MS Office; familiarity with LIMS or data tracking systems is desirable. This is a full-time position with 8am–5pm shifts.

Qualifications

• Experience with laboratory equipment and testing procedures.
• Proficiency with MS Office; familiarity with LIMS or similar systems.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment.

Responsibilities

• Perform laboratory testing, inspections, and evaluations per procedures.
• Prepare, label, maintain, and track samples for testing.
• Record, analyze, and report test results accurately and timely.
• Operate, calibrate, troubleshoot, and maintain laboratory equipment.
• Support QA/QC activities and product development testing.
• Maintain laboratory records and testing logs.
• Adhere to all safety policies and PPE requirements.

Title: Technician Lab II Location: Sugar Land TX, 77478 Duration: 0-12+ Months Shift: 8am to 5pm Monday –Friday Pay Rate: $25/hour - $30/Hour

Job Duties

• Perform laboratory testing, inspections, and evaluations according to established procedures and specifications.
• Prepare, label, maintain, and track samples for testing and analysis.
• Record, analyze, and report test results accurately and in a timely manner.
• Operate, calibrate, troubleshoot, and maintain laboratory equipment and instruments.
• Support quality assurance and quality control activities.
• Assist engineers and technical personnel with product development and validation testing.
• Maintain laboratory records, documentation, and testing logs.
• Follow allsafety policies and laboratory procedures.
• Support investigations related to product quality, test failures, or manufacturing issues.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe laboratory environment.
• Laboratory environment requiring appropriate PPE.

Qualifications

• Laboratory, quality, manufacturing, or technical experience preferred.
• Basic understanding of laboratory equipment and testing procedures.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently and within a team environment.
• Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook) Laboratory Information Management Systems (LIMS) or other sample/test tracking databases Electronic data collection and reporting systems Quality Management Systems (QMS) or quality documentation platforms Basic use of laboratory testing and measurement equipment, such as: Balances/scales pH meters Viscometers Microscopes Calibration and measurement instruments
