Position Summary

Walmart is expanding and seeking a General Facilities Maintenance Technician to join our team. If you have relevant experience, bring your skills to our fast-paced environment, supporting the safety, functionality, and aesthetics of Walmart stores. Under the supervision of the local General Maintenance Manager, you'll perform routine maintenance, inspections, cleaning, and repairs of facilities, equipment, and fixtures.

Position Requirements

• 18 years or older
• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs, work at heights, and in various temperatures
• Valid driver’s license with a clean record
• Vocational/Technical certification and 1 year experience or 2 years total work experience in trades like plumbing, electrical, or related

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain and repair facilities and equipment using various craft skills and tools
• Use work order systems for reactive repairs and documentation
• Respond promptly to emergency maintenance calls
