Job summary

Walmart is seeking a Technician, Facility Services for exterior maintenance at the Perris, California Walmart Supercenter #1747. You will perform groundskeeping, lawn care, and exterior area upkeep to keep the store’s surroundings clean and inviting.

Responsibilities

• Conduct ground maintenance activities in parking lots, exterior buildings, and surrounding areas to uphold cleanliness standards.
• Mowing, trimming, and pruning to ensure the exterior environment remains pristine.
• Work alongside fellow associates to manage all aspects of landscaping and exterior maintenance.
• Adhere to stringent safety, security, and integrity protocols,
• E nsuring compliance with corporate policies and regulatory requirements at local, federal, and state levels.

Minimum Qualifications

Compensation

• Individual compensation packages are based on various factors unique to each candidate, including skill set, experience, level of job offer, qualifications and other job‑related factors.

Preferred Qualifications

• Associate’s degree or equivalent in Engineering, Maintenance, Construction Management, or related area.
• Experience in third‑party management.
• Experience using intermediate level functionality of word processing, spreadsheet, email, and presentation software (for example, Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint).
• State/local licensing where required (for example, Florida, Texas, California).

The hourly wage range for this position is $21.00 - $39.00*. The actual hourly rate will equal or exceed the required minimum wage applicable to the job location. Additional compensation in the form of premiums may be paid in amounts ranging from $0.35 per hour to $3.00 per hour in specific circumstances. Premiums may be based on schedule, facility, season, or specific work performed. Multiple premiums may apply if applicable criteria are met.
