Key Responsibilities

As a Tax Technical Staff within the Rewards practice, you will work with global clients to understand and address some of their largest and most complex people-related challenges and ultimately improve and drive sustainable business results.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Developing relevant and flexible tax-compliant compensation, benefit and incentive approaches for clients.
  • Advising clients on regulatory matters and the taxation of compensation and benefit programs.
  • Benchmarking and designing executive and broad-based compensation and benefit arrangements.
  • Supporting clients in complex transactions (mergers, acquisitions and divestitures).
  • Conducting financial due diligence on HR, compensation and benefit programs.
  • Identifying tax, financial, and regulatory risks related to compensation and benefits.
  • Performing golden parachute / Section 280G calculations in connection with transactions.
  • Advising on the tax and financial implications and executive compensation broad-based arrangements.
Skills and Attributes

To qualify for the role, you must have:

  • Progress toward a Juris Doctor (JD).
  • Membership or anticipated membership in a US state bar.
  • A predicted undergraduate or graduate degree in Accounting, Human Resources, Business or Industrial Relations.
  • Demonstrated analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong quantitative acumen, including outstanding analytical ability.
  • Excellent communication (written and verbal) skills.
